Good morning Ira. I too was front and center when The Monkees were on Monday night. Once, and only once I decided I was not going to eat the zucchini casserole my mom had made for dinner. My father said in a very level tone of voice that I was going to sit at the kitchen table until my plate was clean. I dug in my heels and just sat there as 'Hey hey we're The Monkees!' filtered in from the next room. I missed the entire program and was finally aloud to leave the table when Laugh-In was in progress.

I never did eat my zucchini that night.
