Wow, I don't ever remember thrift store records being only 25 cents. They were 99 cents for as long as I can remember, until recent years when someone told Goodwill that vinyl was hot now, so they jacked up the prices.

yeah, you could get plenty of 50 cent albums in the '80s. A shop on Reseda Blvd had a 48 cent section, til they closed in the '90s. I used to live at that section, haha. it's where they put the weird crap.

IT's crazy that the standard goodwill, salvation army, st vinnies prices are like 2.99 now. even for super scratched up records. plus they set common things aside, like Eagles records to price even higher. Records stores don't price that way.

At a local store, they sold the "Nervous Breakdown" 7" for $600, to someone who sold it on ebay...for $600! Oops, guess he should have held on to it for a while, & wait for the prices to go up.
