	12:25am northguineahills: ↳ Erik/VT @12:20 yeah, said best friend was envious that i took my gf's attention away from her. when we did shrooms once together when she was visiiting FL, things got so i had bad trip b/c of her. but during that funeral trip, we actually bonded. also awkward, my gf's brother came out of the closet (and her family was conservative catholic) also awkward. but he did take me to a wonderful drag show and later a gay bar, since i was barely on speaking terms w/ my gf. i later once in brooklyn, ran into him at a bar.

Sadly died a few years back.

NDW German obscurities, self-released DIY, meaning literally handmade and labeled cassettes and silk screened vinyl in tiny editions. Speaking on the phone with Vivian Goldman, Don Letts, and friends from UK 🇬🇧 arriving off the plane carrying bags of LPs to share & then sell in the store. Crazy small world. also where i scored the hugely thick reference book on all things indy, DIY, & New Wave called “VOLUME” version 2.0 (mind you, 1982 83 84 well before interwebs) - was impossible to find info of obscure stuff.
