Good Evening Therese and All, We were in England for ten days, so I missed last week's show. I returned to work today, thus a little out of it. I'm happy to be hearing the show again. I'm not sure now long I will last.

OK, Therese, this is from the link provided by Ken From Hyde Park:

Could you elaborate on the significance of the title, “First of May”?

The title “First of May” represents the start of spring and the hope and optimism it brings. In many cultures, May 1st is celebrated as a day of joy, renewal, and new beginnings. Through this song, the Bee Gees capture the essence of this special day and convey a message of hope and love.

The Wonder Years aired from 1988 and 1993 and depicted the years between 1968 and 1973. When I watched the show, it felt like it was set in a time long ago. If a new Wonder Years premiered today, it would cover the years between 2004 and 2009.

Bob Barth's One Night Stand is great for people who either love the "variety show" genre from TV (its like a variety show but on radio), enjoy a range of the arts, including theatre, or just love to hear passion and learn new things. His rock show reviews are great. As a broadcaster and writer, he is top notch. And he sings a mean opening track VERY TIME.
