He played a night there when I lived all of three blocks from the joint. But because I was in law school I declined to attend the show. Yes, I am an idiot.

Jonathan insisted that the AC be turned off and it was broiling inside the Court basement. He played, backed only by Tommy Larkin, and it was spiritual. All the dudes stripped their shirts off and the women were down to their bras, yet NO ONE was creepy about it. I've not seen him since, mostly because I doubt it could be topped.

Jonathan insisted that the AC be turned off and it was broiling inside the Court basement. He played, backed only by Tommy Larkin, and it was spiritual. All the dudes stripped their shirts off and the women were down to their bras, yet NO ONE was creepy about it. I've not seen him since, mostly because I doubt it could be topped.
