this is the one big space-rock track on their first album; "My Childhood Trees" is the one atmospheric track on Delayed (which is otherwise all space-rock jams)

i think more recent space rock jams are inspired by groups like this where groups like algarnas, i think come from more primary, less secondary sources like scandanavian folk and sibelius and so the invention seems fresher not just stylistic
