Oh yeah, good idea to take another 'VID test. I have other random symptoms that don't add up, like sore... lungs?

I'm not a doctor, but water filters (and hydration in general) help me. I also avoid antacids etc because they have aluminum salts in them and all kinds of other woo woo.

went to go see joe mcphee today, thought it was solo, but it was an unusual quartet, tenor sax, baritone sax, tuba and bass... he ended up not playing too much, dave sewelson, william parker and someone whose name i did not catch on tuba....there was an interesting bass/tuba duet, and sewelson did some interesting stuff, but mcphee did not play that much...

there was no leader as far as i could tell, except by default, if you mean that....if he soloed at all it was very brief....was my first time seeing him and i didn't get a clear impression, for people who had seen him before they might have more insight in to what he did today

He lets others star, with sometimes a nudge here and there.
The first time I saw him with Corsano, the latter was too respectful, so McPhee just sat down at a point, like "do your thing now," and that was never needed again. On the other hand, I saw him cut off Peter Brötzmann when he got in autopilot mode

It probably would be a lot different if it were published now. Definitely a creep factor.

I thought the writing was decent considering it was written by David Lynch's daughter. But it was lacking in many areas, particularly Dr. Jacoby and Harold (the guy with the plants).
