Every year the Goner brain trust manages to pull something (or a few somethings) off that are way outside the presupposed bounds attendees' interests and produce a scene of grizzled rockers transfixed by beautiful art of an entirely different sort. I have many lovely memories of this occurring (Parsnip, En Attendant Ana, Ultimate Painting, ...) and it's always a highlight of the festival. So glad you were able to join in the immersion.

Up till pretty recently, yes indeed. I did a couple of different shows on WLUW (Loyola University) in Chicago, about ten years' worth I think? In-studio till the pandemic, then remote. Last shows I did were over Christmas break, remote from Philly.

just a very subjective response, but the idea of a doll installation in regard to holocaust reminds me unfortunately of the installation that was in the jusdisches museum in berlin of metal cut outs of faces lying in a specially designed corner of the museum like cookies. i thought it was ridiculous and with touches like this thought the museum's architecture was over generalized in it caligari-like effects
