Mr Fab:

Please welcome a WFMU veteran who has recently joined the Wiggle Room posse, Kitschy Mama!

She's still hosting "Retro Obscuro" over on Rock n Soul, but will also host "Organ Harvest" the third Tuesday, and perhaps the 5th week of the month here on the Wiggle Room, for all your vintage electro keyboard needs.

*deafening roar of applause*

My mom was housekeeper to a family that had a gorgeous organ in the living room. I didn't know the make of it. I was just about 5 years old at the time I was there with Mom. The woman sternly told me that I was forbidden to touch it and that she could see fingerprints.

Speaking of bone rattling, I remember there were recordings released that made effort to capture the full spectrum of sound that organs can create. Most of them focused on large pipe organs. Though digitizing / streaming such a recording is not going to reflect the "full fidelity" but wondering if you have any of those recordings?

also known as "Cats On The Rooftops":

D'ye ken John Peel with his coat so grey
he's a very funny fellow, some folks say
'cos he doesn't do it in the normal way
but with his hounds and his horses in the morning

Cats on the rooftops, cats on the tiles
cats with syphilis, cats with piles
cats with their arseholes wreathed in smiles
as they revel in the joys of fornication

After than extemporise whatever filthy verses you like, usually with the last line
As he(she/they) revels in the joys of fornication
