Yeah, we basically had a a good thing going until medson wore his gang cut when he was working as a roadie on Reed's US tour after Transformer was released. Reed flipped out at a bar in Fort Worth and the whole backing band, the Tots, started pummeling medson until both Mick Ronson and I jumped in and broke it up. We were kicked off the tour, but medson ended up moving in with Reed's ex-wife Bette Kronstad while Reed was recording Berlin.

Yeah I saw MazzyStar in Santa Barbara. So crowded & dimly lit - couldn't even really see short HopeSandoval. There was no aspect of 'Performance' to what they did - they just stayed still & played. So then it's all about whether the atmosphere allowed you to vibe with it ...which in this case it really didn't. Much as it ought to have been really memorable...
