After 2000 you had 10 new genres within punk/indie and I felt like DIY became its most prominent with CMJ showcases introducing the world the more genre mixing then it had ever seen.

And there was also some really great European pop from the likes of Annie/Richard X. I was lucky to go to some incredible club nights during this period.
