I'm thinking that maybe I picked up a bug? Nothing serious just a bit of a headache and fatigue like total ragdolling in my work chair. As in when I went to bed last night I didn't even have it together enough to remember to take my glassess off of my desk and put them in their case on my Ikea headboard-table thingy, nor did I move my insulated water cup from its spot on a coaster on the floor near my work area into the kitchen like I usually do. Water lives on floor to avoid destroying my computer btw.

I had also neglected to wear a warm enough coat; instead of grabbing my newish side-tie puffer jacket I grabbed my Polarfleece Soccer Mom Jacket....and realized that I had left my gloves etc in my other coat. I also did way too much peopling for one day, despite the LES being less crowded than usual for a weekend.

	🥁 1:32pm Threemoons 🌛🌝🌜: REMINDER TO ALL while we are on the topic of health: GET YOUR TDAP AND MMR BOOSTERS. Some 11 years ago I worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering and getting your titers checked, and boosted, was mandatory as a condition of employment. Right after orientation, they marched the new hires to their employee health center and started taking blood. Lots of it. Turns out I needed boosters for BOTH, and then got my titers checked again 90 days later to make sure they "took" (some ethnic groups, including a subset of Ashkenazi Jews, don't have the MMR "take"). As such, get your boosters while they are still free and/or covered by most insurance, before fucking Dr. fucking Oz starts prescribing homeopathy for measles or some shit. Actually need to put that on my calendar and call my RiteAid to get it set up. Most pharmacies still carry the boosters. I don't recall getting billed for any public health shot that I've ever had.

As in when I went to bed last night I didn't even have it together enough to remember to take my glassess off of my desk and put them in their case on my Ikea headboard-table thingy, nor did I move my insulated water cup from its spot on a coaster on the floor near my work area into the kitchen like I usually do. Water lives on floor to avoid destroying my computer btw.

I had also neglected to wear a warm enough coat; instead of grabbing my newish side-tie puffer jacket I grabbed my Polarfleece Soccer Mom Jacket....and realized that I had left my gloves etc in my other coat. I also did way too much peopling for one day, despite the LES being less crowded than usual for a weekend.

Some 11 years ago I worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering and getting your titers checked, and boosted, was mandatory as a condition of employment. Right after orientation, they marched the new hires to their employee health center and started taking blood. Lots of it. Turns out I needed boosters for BOTH, and then got my titers checked again 90 days later to make sure they "took" (some ethnic groups, including a subset of Ashkenazi Jews, don't have the MMR "take"). As such, get your boosters while they are still free and/or covered by most insurance, before fucking Dr. fucking Oz starts prescribing homeopathy for measles or some shit. Actually need to put that on my calendar and call my RiteAid to get it set up. Most pharmacies still carry the boosters. I don't recall getting billed for any public health shot that I've ever had.
