I was in a shop this afternoon and thought I was hearing Coltrane. I asked the owner, and he said it was Sonny Rollins. I was suitably chastened... until he looked it up and realized it was Tenor Madness! Coltrane and Rollins together!
(In fact, I was probably wrong in my guess anyway, but I got some cred with the owner.)

I live in Joisey, and had trouble listening to the main FM signal here. Oddly, I work in Staten Island, and had decent reception there (then they moved my office to the basement, and I lost FM).

I don't have any religious pull one way or another, but I do appreciate the joy good gospel / church music exudes. It's music, I can appreciate it as such.

But I am not ascribing religious views to anybody. What puzzles me is a propensity among people--I don't mean present company--who condemn those who proclaim religious views.
