(Why sad? Because the piano was out of tune, and he declined to play any solors... or even comp much. It broke my heart!)

Thoroughly enjoyed both. I wish my ears were better developed then so more got in. Also wish I went more than once because for both my memory is mostly filled with OMG? I'm Actually Here Seeing and Hearing This!

I heard him a couple of times there, including a free concert in a local park. I suspect he is semi-retired... maybe mostly teaching? But he could still play, as of 5 years ago.
