But he's right in that case about alcohol & relationships & all this...

	6:05pm Siggi: Rick Nelson was one of the most influential, pre Brit-invasion, pre surf music, music icons of the '60s. Record sales says all. He wasn't doo-wop, nor pretending to be. He was just the really good looking guy, with talent and charisma, that everyone liked. Arguably, he influenced more young boys (mostly) to pick up the guitar then, say, Eddie Cochran, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, or even Scotty Moore.

	6:05pm Siggi: Rick Nelson was one of the most influential, pre Brit-invasion, pre surf music, music icons of the '60s. Record sales says all. He wasn't doo-wop, nor pretending to be. He was just the really good looking guy, with talent and charisma, that everyone liked. Arguably, he influenced more young boys (mostly) to pick up the guitar then, say, Eddie Cochran, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, or even Scotty Moore.
