Obscure musical gems, avant experimentation, and classics worth rehearing. A conurbation of Leslie speakers, timbales, plungers, arch-tops, tablas, and squeaky reeds. Black ties, pork pies, Cuban boots, Nudie suits, bobbysocks, turtlenecks, and high-heeled sneakers. Jazz is the north star but it’s a wide universe, so says The Laughing Clock.

never saw one; but there is the monty python record with 3 grooves. the standard ONE on one side, and 2 adjacent ones on the other side.
- so if one didn't know about this, and their needle happened to slide into the same groove every time for a while, they could be extremely confused when one day - maybe weeks or months later, the record played an entirely different program!

Just checking in, having listened to a 1993 Analogue Productions issue of Sonny Rollins' Way Out West (on "Premium HQ-180 Super Vinyl," the value of which doesn't particularly impress me) on my turntable, which recently enjoyed a luxurious mani-pedi. Glorious sound music noise.

That Monty Python record is a hoot. Not being a Lou Reed fan at all, I nevertheless love MMM and its infinite range.

typically Monty Python amiright?

Just listening to the Jim Hall, caught up with the rest of the show (love Hall)!!
Great Duke, nice to have some Count as well!
Have the same turntable as Dean (Linn LP12), but haven't gone for the latest updates (this audiophile business is a bottomless pit...)
Thanks Peter, catch you next time!
