Nina Simone dearly wanted to be a classical pianist. With the help of a few supporters in her hometown, she enrolled at Juilliard. She then applied for a scholarship to study at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, where, despite a well received audition, she was denied admission, which she attributed to racism.
Kip Winger of the band Winger was the principal dancer of the Colorado Ballet.

One thing happens to be - the Beatles & Stones actually cooperated to stagger their releases. Which makes metering them to each other Culturally ...a little awkward. Things changed by the month then...

Hail, true Body, born
of the Virgin Mary,
truly suffered, sacrificed
on the cross for mankind,
from whose pierced side
flowed water and blood:
Be for us a foretaste [of the Heavenly banquet]
in the trial of death!
O sweet Jesus, O holy Jesus,
O Jesus, son of Mary,
have mercy on me. Amen.

...thinking then of George Harrison - who realized there were several students of Ravi Shankar who were always going to be better on Sitar than him. So maybe he still had something to say on Guitar...
