Because of reasons of time, money, circumstance, I never thought I'd hear those songs live. It was great to be there for it. We maybe could have managed the weekend a little different-- stayed only one night. The hotel was ... an experience. We didn't really understand what we were getting into with that! But whatever, we got a weekend away. Took a flyer on a $30 five-CD changer, but it didn't work when I got it back here. Did get a few records at the store above the Music Hal, though. Jean Redpath, Darryl Hall and John Oates, Eurythhmics, and (best of all!) the Roches.
	🎸 9:52am morphe': "Accordion Crimes" Annie Proulx Is worth a read ... follows the life/tales of the various owners of an accordion over a long spell [classic writing/film genre] .... some chapters better than others but one or three really good ones make it worth the read ... get it from the library ..

Because of reasons of time, money, circumstance, I never thought I'd hear those songs live. It was great to be there for it. We maybe could have managed the weekend a little different-- stayed only one night. The hotel was ... an experience. We didn't really understand what we were getting into with that! But whatever, we got a weekend away. Took a flyer on a $30 five-CD changer, but it didn't work when I got it back here. Did get a few records at the store above the Music Hal, though. Jean Redpath, Darryl Hall and John Oates, Eurythhmics, and (best of all!) the Roches.
