Really liked the first two seasons, hated the third. Some sloppy writing, obvious forshadowing and a waste of Carrie Coon. For a better showcase of Ms. Coon see His Three Daughters, The Nest, Leftovers and Fargo. Even her short appearance in Izzy Gets The Fuck Across Town, where she gets to sing a Heaven's To Betsy cover, is preferable. And for better Mike White see Chuck and Buck.

RIP Nino Tempo. Deep Purple is obviously the classic single, but Nino himself was a key participant in those classic Phil Spector productions, like Phil's second set of ears, a part of the Wrecking Crew story that doesn't get told as much. According to Nino, he was the one who suggested and sang the Be My Baby drum groove to Hal Blaine because it needed a hook, and he never got credit.

Though I've basically given up on RSD buying the last several years, I did get the Sessions '64 10" in 2015 - for The Honeys, mainly, but ended up selling it about a year later

Same here. More fun to go thru stuff at the Official Record Fair, although I wish there were more of those here in NYC (they used to have them at a midtown hotel, but haven't since Covid), the Archive of Contemporary Music, moved upstate (found some great stuff there in the past) & there's a group called Vinyl Revolution that has shows in Queens & L.I., but results are mixed. As for RSD, years ago I found some cool limited-ed. singles but it seems geared now for audiophiles, or people w/unlimited income, to buy vinyl copies of stuff you already own for $50 or more. I understand some of these are rare, but the prices are ridiculous.

I miss the record conventions of the 80's and early 90's.
