Hey Dave. I saw Nektar in NJ on Sat. night. Only Derek "Mo" Moore is left from the 1970's band. The new band were good, played old & new material. Last time I saw them was 49 years ago (1976).

Jack o the Clock folks were at Mills College when Fred Frith was on the faculty. Pretty sure the drummer is Jordan Glenn who is also in a touring trio with Frith and Jason Hoopes, so there’s your Henry Cow connection.

They all are. Super talented bunch. Their work on Nosferatu was really cool and the way they featured Jordan Rudess on the video screens playing his keyboard parts from a B&W studio video they shot was really fun. Also some nice classical pieces arranged by the band.

The early days the sound was much better. Clearer and less loud and I wear pro earplugs

I wear 3M plugs for construction workers.
Not the foam plugs, the conical ones.

Having tested commercial fire alarms for almost 30 years as well as doing live & studio engineering at times, they've kept my hearing perfect even at 67 years old
