Listener comments!

  11:12pm
Joe:

I saw The Go back in June, headlining for the Black Hollies. I'm not sure where I got the tickets. Anyway, they were awesome. But I was not crazy about this album when I heard it last.
  11:21pm
efd:

yeah, I have to say that album didn't make a huge impression on me either. But another Joe who you may know recently gave me an extra copy he had of this single and I liked it more now. Might be time to re-listen to that CD.
  11:26pm
Joe:

I was just gonna say, the single sounds much better to me. Must be the vinyl. Or maybe the weather. All killer tonight, so far, btw. Really great stuff. Will there be another robo-Tom appearance?
  11:48pm
Michael from the left coast:

Since you're in this groove, how about "Bubblegum" by Sonic Youth?
  11:51pm
annabelle clark:

happy holidaze everyone,,peace love & good will=)=)=)
  11:58pm
Laurie:

Speaking of Florida bands, did you get a little email from a Miami band??
  12:03am
efd:

yes i did! thanks for acting as my agent! :) unfortunately we're not going to be able to set something up this time around, but hopefully we'll do something sometime next year after their album comes out.
  12:05am
annabelle clark:

evan got any special thanxgivin plans??
  12:06am
efd:

MIchael, I ran into the library and looked for Bubblegum but couldn't find it, at least not in the time I had while a song was playing!
  12:07am
Laurie:

Ooh, bummer. And next year is less than a month and a half away. This year has gone so fast.
  12:15am
Laurie:

This is almost as good as the lion cub cam, in the unlikely event that y'all haven't been tipped to the puppycam: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/shiba-inu-puppy-cam
  12:16am
Joe:

Laurie I've been watching that nonstop for days now.

I think they're sleeping now.
  12:17am
Laurie:

No, they are not. It's 9:17 pm in San Francisco, and they are romping around.
  12:20am
Joe:

Ooooooh i hate to miss a good romp. I wasn't sure where they were, they seem to keep odd hours.
  12:21am
Laurie:

Oh my god, two of them were just playing tug of war with a chew toy!!!!
  12:24am
Joe:

This song actually scores the action quite well.
  12:29am
annabelle c.:

g'nite all=)=)=)
  12:29am
efd:

i think some people at work were talking about that puppy cam the other day, but I didn't hear the whole conversation and thought they were talking about the puppy *bowl*.
  12:31am
efd:

goodnight annabelle. to answer your question - yes I do have some special thanksgiving plans. :)
  12:33am
mark:

Have you ever heard of Eddie Schwartz NO REFUGE? It's pretty good pop from 1981, released on Atlantic. I think he's Canadian.
  12:42am
santucci:

WHITE DRUGS!
  12:50am
Amanda:

Man, what I wouldn't give for a ride in that Critters limousine.
  12:52am
efd:

Amanda, seriously!

Mark, not familiar with Eddie Schwartz but sounds like something that might be up my alley.
  12:53am
Joe:

Why the quotes around "interview"? Are you suggesting, somehow, that Mr. Harrison has not held up to the Evan "Funk" Davies show's impeccable journalistic standards?
  12:54am
efd:

I'm suggesting that Mr. Harrison and the members of the Critters never engaged in a direct conversation of any kind.
  12:57am
?:

My Dr. Strangelove DVD extras contain something similar. Its a blank half of a split screen, with Peter Sellers on one side, giving answers to questions nobody is asking. The local stations were then free to splice in their local news anchor giving his "exclusive" interview.

See, media was fun back then!
  12:59am
Joe:

I'm forgetting my name on things. Time for bed. Good show, good night!
  1:00am
efd:

thanks Joe! Sleep well.

Laurie, if you're still out there and not totally consumed by the puppy cam - did you see the comment directed to you on my playlist from last week's show? It was added the next day, I think.
  1:06am
Laurie:

To answer this fellow's question: I'm a mysterious lady.
  1:09am
Joe:

Wooooow Harry sounds like he had a couple before getting on the mic, there.

Okay now I'm really going to bed. But I will still be listening.
