  3:40pm
Doug in DC:

Just cranked it up! Thanks!
  3:41pm
Parq:

Irwin speculated yesterday on which FMU staffers would do extravagant Cramps tributes. You guys realize, of course, that the first few of you are going to play all the good tracks, leaving nothing for the weekend crew but repeats.
  3:43pm
Parq:

My meeting with a co-worker is over. Now I can (finally!) crank it up.
  3:44pm
Steve in Chicago:

What a high price to pay for a Cramps Set .
Thanks Lux for bringing enjoyment to so many.
  3:45pm
Cecile:

Parq, you say "repeats" like it's a bad thing.

I also hope Irwin keeps his promise and doesn't do a tribute to a band he doesn't like ever again.
  3:51pm
Patrick:

"Dont eat Stuff on the Sidewalk" was part of an awesome punk mixtape given to by this surfer life guard in Beach Haven, NJ, and definitely changed my life. It goes well with "Sex and Violence" by the Exploited and "Beverly Hills" by the Circle Jerks and "10:15" by the Cure, also "Fire in the Rain" by Agent Orange. All have nice reverb.
  3:52pm
Negator:

Thanks, Diane! I'm starting to feel better. Flat Duo Jets sound good with The Cramps, too.
  3:56pm
GP:

I'm literally hearing all of this for the first time. I can't believe that somehow I missed out on this AWESOMENESS. The Cramps...who knew...apparently everyone else BUT me! Got a lot of record buying to do now.
  3:57pm
fishmonkeystew:

When I saw them play, they played Surfin' Bird, which ended up with Lux on top of the speaker stack in his leopard spedo's drinking some mystery foreign liquid out of the high heeled shoes he had been wearing, then moaning into the mic that he had stuffed in his mouth. Classic.
  3:58pm
fishmonkeystew:

speedos. d'oh.
  3:59pm
Joe In Korea:

Outstanding tribute to a one of a kind band and singer! There is no one who can take his place! I am hearing this at 6 AM my time, its going to be weird trying to concentrate at work today! Thanks!
  3:59pm
Sean Daily:

From what I'm hearing, the Cramps were a lot more fun as a live act.
  3:59pm
Cecile:

GP, you need Songs the Lord Taught Us like right now.
  4:00pm
BRUCE BOMB:

GP- check out the LIVE AT NAPA STATE MENTAL HOSPITAL videos on YouTube, it's really PERFECT in every way.
  4:01pm
Cecile:

Sean....no! Played at the right volume, Songs the Lord Taught us is one of the greatest albums ever. I like their earlier stuff, but they never put out a truly bad record.
  4:02pm
GP:

10-4 Cecile...I am so out of it sometimes...however i can see where a lot of bands that I do like got their sound from. Thanks also to Bruce..I'll check it out at home, IT has us on the video lockdown at the office.
  4:03pm
detroitdave:

WHAT A SHOW TODAY DIANE!!
  4:05pm
Cecile:

WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Sonic Reducer!
  4:06pm
