	10:15am doug from dc: Simon of the Desert has really poor production values, but it's one of Bunuel's funniest. He ran out of money before he could finish it, and used a random on-set occurance to end it. Won't spoil it though. That line, "I want to go back to my pillar" sticks with me to this day.

	10:16am Faust Gertz: Here are some films I recall enjoying and haven't thought about for a ong time: 'Hol volt, hol nem volt' aka 'A Hungarian Fairy Tale', 'W.R. - Misterije organizma' aka 'WR: Mysteries of the Organism', 'Hop', and 'Chameleon Street'. Might as well give a shout of for 'Point Blank' (1967).

	10:18am GP: Rib, both of my young kids LOVE Napoleon Dynamite. They have watched it probably 50 times and can pretty much quote the whole movie. It is one of the few semi-adult movies that I can let them watch.

	10:24am 55ffrr: If you don't mind subtitles, check out a Kieslowski film sometime. I recommend any from his 'Decalogue' or 'Red" from the 3 color trilogy. Also, 'Happy-Go-Lucky' is scary-fun.
	10:25am Parq: Viv, if your nabe has an indy rental place that stocks the obscure and off-off-Hollywood, you should get to work having it landmarked. When Kim's went under, it signaled the end of an era, if not an eon.

	10:40am cecile: Oh, hai, Trouble, I saw Flight of the Conchords Sunday night. SO AMAZING. AMAZING. You have to google, "Jemaine gold pants" Just saying. I liked the Sandlot. I didn't see the rest. I hated Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. They were all dicks and the kung fu was not all that. The Police Academy movies are kind of lousy, but I still laugh at them in spots.

	11:09am GP: Got to see the painting "Joan of Arc" by Jules Bastien-Lepage up close. It is insanely large, like 8 feet tall. Joan is larger than life and I don't remember the term, but it describes the feeling you get when looking at great art or hearing great music..that woozy, lightheadeness..well I had it in spades...remarkable painting...HIGHLY emotional.

	11:09am GP: Got to see the painting "Joan of Arc" by Jules Bastien-Lepage up close. It is insanely large, like 8 feet tall. Joan is larger than life and I don't remember the term, but it describes the feeling you get when looking at great art or hearing great music..that woozy, lightheadeness..well I had it in spades...remarkable painting...HIGHLY emotional.
