this preceded devil wid a blue dress?
  8:03pm
Fine Wine:

Hmm, not sure. Remember, Shorty Long did the original "Blue Dress," on Motown. This one's also from Detroit, around the same time...would have to do some research to figure out which came first.
  8:19pm
Bill:

Awesome show as always! Nice to hear you on the Experts panel last week!
  2:02pm
Fine Wine:

Whoops! Of course, Lalo Schifrin is Argentine, not Brazilian. Drrrrrrrrrr
  7:02am
Garageman:

So good to hear tracks by Otis Rush and Little Milton. How about digging out one of Lowell Fulsom's sides for Kent/Modern? Another bluesman on the soulful side of the street. As ever, great show Mr Fine Wine.

the gaucho:

I admit I'm late to the game...just catching up with some home-dancing sessions....I am loving this one in particular. Otis Rush, Young Jessie, George Jackson. Thanks, FW, where would I be without Downtown Soulville on nights like this??? My neighbors may disagree....:-)
