	1:43am Mike Sin: Hawkwind to Rob Calvert solo... on 45, no less. Hawkwind's version of "Ejection" ended up as a bonus track on the CD reissue on "Doremi Fasol Latido"

	1:48am Tim in Florida: Funny thing, that "Sky Pilot" 45. It's split into two parts (even though it's no longer than, say, "Hey Jude"), but it's in stereo (probably one of the first stereo 45s). At least the US version is; the UK 45 version is in mono with a significantly different mix.
	1:51am Joe: Wow, Tim, you knows your sky pilots! I'd love to have the UK mono mix...I love the whole Pt. 1/Pt. 2 thing. Whenever I have a record like that, I always want to bookend with it.
	1:54am Tim in Florida: UK mono mix is on the 2004 CD remaster of "The Twain Shall Meet," by EB & the Animals. You might have it there.
	1:56am Tim in Florida: Stereo version is track 6. Mono single mix is split between tracks 9 & 10.
	1:56am Joe: I'll have to look. Would you believe I just bought that LP three weeks ago? True story! It was only 2 bucks. Alas, I'll have to find the CD for the bonus cuts...

On January 13th, Surface Noise was poised to do a special live remote broadcast from Lincoln Center's Library of the Performing Arts with special guest Don Fleming . Unfortunately, technical problems prevented the show from being broadcast. While still at the library, surrounded by the music they had selected from the library's collection, Joe and Don decided to do the show anyway. The show that they recorded will be broadcast in full on today's Surface Noise.

	1:48am Tim in Florida: Funny thing, that "Sky Pilot" 45. It's split into two parts (even though it's no longer than, say, "Hey Jude"), but it's in stereo (probably one of the first stereo 45s). At least the US version is; the UK 45 version is in mono with a significantly different mix.
