HI work is occasionally compared with Paul Auster's but is much more spectacular and mind-warping. His characters crop up in various books and his take on LA is magical. There's really no other writer like him.

	11:08am Adrian in London: Has anyone here read anything by Steve Erickson? Not the fantasy writer but the LA novelist who wrote Tours of the Black Clock and Amnesiascope. HI work is occasionally compared with Paul Auster's but is much more spectacular and mind-warping. His characters crop up in various books and his take on LA is magical. There's really no other writer like him.
