It was the only thing I saw in the store that had this contraption. So I am guessing electric toothbrush----??

Made me think that you can take the boy out of bourgeois but you can't take the bourgeois out of the boy. Image is everything! Best...
	7:45pm Don (minister of props): A bit of Sherman folklore - The folks at BBQ productions who did the '65 Worlds Fair documentary had to get the OK not only from the Sherman Bros. (who OKd immediately) for 'It's a great big beautiful tomorrow' (Pepsi Pavilion) but from the Disney lawyers - who dragged their feet. They were finally able to release the DVD two years after the premiere. Yup, the Tigger songs and all else Winnie the Pooh was Sherman.
	7:46pm CB1: 40 years ago I lifted a leather jacket from Barney's. I wore it to loft party that night and got so drunk on Gin that i threw up in my lap. When I went for my jacket to leave someone had stolen it. Never did that again.

	8:20pm jbm: Razors are crazy-expensive because they keep throwing more marketable "technology" at it - five-bladed mega-razors, really? - and once you buy into that notion, you're locked into their proprietary cartridges, which is where they make the money. There are some brands (Merkur, Feather) still making good ol' double-edged blades which, by the way, actually seem to have far better edges than what's in the mainstream cartridges. Actually, Feather may, if anything, be too sharp. 	8:28pm jbm: Yeah, if you feel a pulling on the hairs... the blade's too dull. If you really want to avoid that, try Feather blades if you dare. Crazy-sharp Japanese things. Just don't blame me if you bleed a little getting used to them. The Merkur blades seem Goldilocks-just-right for me.
	8:28pm CB1: You know this also explains why razor blades come in those crazy enormous hard plastic packages you can't open.
	8:29pm Don (minister of props): Cool SDeluxe skratch - Kid Cudi is a fine newcomer to the art. He reminds me of the self-exiled guy from the Nathan's hot dog eatoff whose metabolism keeps him skinny.
	8:30pm Razor Blade Manufacturers: It's a very ordinary business plan. Offer the basic tool cheap or free upfront, and then get years of constant income from ongoing locked-in purchases of a necessary and highly-priced part of the process that gets used up constantly. Compare printers (cheap) and ink (expensive), or wireless phones (free or subsidized) and monthly usage contracts. Some people say computers will soon come free, with a contracted monthly fee for internet access/usage as the real profit-maker.

	8:20pm jbm: Razors are crazy-expensive because they keep throwing more marketable "technology" at it - five-bladed mega-razors, really? - and once you buy into that notion, you're locked into their proprietary cartridges, which is where they make the money. There are some brands (Merkur, Feather) still making good ol' double-edged blades which, by the way, actually seem to have far better edges than what's in the mainstream cartridges. Actually, Feather may, if anything, be too sharp. Some people say computers will soon come free, with a contracted monthly fee for internet access/usage as the real profit-maker.
