David:

Still reflecting on the great show a few weeks back with your interview of FOW. Thanks for that nugget of joy, Michael!
  11:19am
mrmucho:

I guess you can't play "sunday morning coming down" since it's Saturday
  11:24am
seang:

aint nothing wrong with this
  11:25am
mrmucho:

  11:28am
José in Mexico.:

Cissy Strut is worth it's funkiness in freaking Gold.

  11:32am
Christopher I:

noodletown is the BEST! but yes, a little heavy on the MSG. the duck rolls are amazing.
  11:33am
mrmucho:

you need to drink 12 beers minimum before going to Noodle Town. that's your problem right there.
  11:35am
Beer Industry:

Things Go Better With Beer!
  11:41am
torsten bengtsson:

Great music for a lazy day at home on a cloudy afternoon in Gothenburg, Sweden. And I loved that King of the surf!
  11:52am
northguineahills:

Statler Bros, good Sat morn material!
  11:58am
Christopher I:

mrmucho is right... beer is actually a potent prophylactic against msg poisoning.
  12:01pm
Beer Industry:

87% of all doctors drink beer. Make the smart choice!
  12:03pm
Michael S:

I had to drive.
  12:04pm
Robert:

"Who the heck is Phil Baugh?" was worth the price of admission, plus plenty. What a great line.
  12:12pm
Beer Industry:

Just remember, it's a .08 DUI limit. So you get a good three or four cold ones with a get-out-of-jail-free card! Drive safely!
  12:14pm
BigJay:

Mr. Fine Wine by definition is no food expert.
  12:16pm
Robert:

Juniper would sweep the field in a contest of WFMU kids for air presence. A few weeks ago one WFMU DJ had his daughter on air a few times during his shift and it wasn't pretty.
  12:17pm
Air Kids:

No names, eh? (I remember that show, and the comments, which *I* didn't make.)
  12:18pm
Robert:

Of course a lot of the credit or blame must go to the DJ.
  12:22pm
Corey:

Thanks for the Oklahoma jam from a WFMU fan in Oklahoma City
  12:24pm
drr:

What is it with Jimmy Soul and the suboptimal recordings? Was he trying to sound like Gary U.S. Bonds or something?
  12:40pm
Robert:

So many arrangements of this, and only one that I know of makes explicit the transport'n cx.
  12:40pm
georgia:

Hello Juniper!
  12:41pm
Carl:

the transport'n cx - ?
  12:49pm
tony:

Lovin' that Lefty!
  12:53pm
Guessing:

transportation connection ?
  12:56pm
Robert:

Yes, Guessing. The arrangement we just heard of "Tijuana Taxi" does have horn honks at the end, but someone who didn't know its name probably wouldn't make that ass'n. However, one arrangement I've heard STARTS with pretty obvious honks as a prelude.
  1:00pm
kw:

How did you possibly edit Drinking Out of Cups?
  9:28pm
David K.:

Thanks for playing The Rabies. Went to MHS also, and we were friends and followers of the band. 30 years...oy!
