Listener comments!

  11:10am
paul:

Hank Williams, JR. was recently honored by the National Institute for Football Preparedness.
  11:14am
?:

People like Hanky jr. are why more crossover appeal/mass appeal from other than whites isn't coming to country music anytime soon! Radar detector...tu, tu, du, du..(snap my fingers, tap my toes)

Juke Joint Jonny:

I'm no fan of white people, but to blame Hank II for the universal ignorance about your basic roots music (i.e. country plus everything else) is a little rich.
  11:20am
Scott:

Sheri Shepherd(sp?) is an absolute grade-A moron, but she's hilarious as Tracy Morgan's wife on 30 Rock. And Hank Jr. is an imbecilic troglodyte, but many moons ago, he made some good records. People are complex and loaded with contradictions.
  11:20am
JMadison:

First thing I thought on hearing "Radar Detector": Is this some kind of parody of Yo la Tengo, right down to the falsetto imitating Georgia Hubley's voice?
  11:30am
Scott:

The Dahlmanns are from Norway, I think.
  11:34am
Scott:

Of course, the First Amendment protects us from having our freedom of speech limited by OUR GOVERNMENT, but that doesn't stop it from being invoked by every high-profile moron who gets slapped down after saying something stupid in public.
  11:40am
clarke:

the first amendment guarantees the possibility that you will make a complete fucking dumbass out of yourself
  11:40am
Garry Novikoff:

Lovin' the tunes, Mike ;) Cheers, Garry
  11:43am
Garry Novikoff:

Oooo! Todd defaces the music! I still have this on cassette!
  11:53am
kevino:

Hey Michael, I think ythe song you played that remindrd you of someone else, it could be The Teaset
  11:54am
Jimmy Wipper:

Michael, I've listened to this song at least a dozen times this week! Harry is God.
  11:54am
paul:

kevino, I thought the same thing...but I know MS meant the Beatles. I think.
  11:57am
BigJay:

Great website "For the Love of Harry."
  12:07pm
ROYBOY:

I cant help notice that the 8% hasn't changed

Le mot juste:

@ROYBOY: The word you may be looking for is "cheapskates". :-)
  12:12pm
paul:

"treating the ladies to corn on the cob."
  12:21pm
Steve:

I was driving when I heard you play "Every Boy & Every Girl." I recognized it but couldn't remember the singer's name. I'm thinking: Sirhan Sirhan? Close, but nope!.
  12:27pm
Parq:

You're so right, Michael -- there is nothing like being the dad of a daughter. And this Johnny song? Try not to think about it, but one day, guys are going to be checking out Juni like this.
  12:47pm
drr:

Wow, new Detroit Cobras or just a record I haven't heard?
  12:49pm
Michael:

From the very good new Buddy Holly tribute that McCartney put together!
  12:53pm
paul:

MS is right about this one!
  10:17am
mark:

On Saturday afternoon, October 15 at about 12:30-1pm I heard an amazing song on your station. The only line I could get out of it was "I am a child..." It was a female singer and the song was alternative, kind of jazzy. Can you help me locate this song?
