Listener comments!

  12:07am
Jeff In Hawaii:

Good evening Therese. Can't wait to hear what's in store tonight. Awesome Best Show DVD appearance w/ Mike btw-just saw it.
  12:08am
a.:

I'm staying up way past my bedtime just to hear some of your show. So far, so good!
  12:10am
Therese:

Thanks, Jeff! That was fun to do.

And welcome, a! Thanks for staying up late with me.
  12:15am
mchuge:

I just looked up Dinosaur L on wikipedia. Holy crap! (in a good way)
  12:21am
a.:

You're welcome! I know nothing about A Certain Ratio except that they were in that movie "24 Hour Party People" and seemed really lame. The movie seems lame, too, in retrospect - but this song is danceable.
  12:25am
Therese:

I liked "24 Hour Party People," but it was a bit gimmicky with all the cameos and such. Still, I will watch Steve Coogan in almost anything.
  12:32am
Jack:

Kellerman may have covered Crosby, but did she appear at Occupy Wall St? I think not!
  12:36am
a.:

I didn't mind the gimmicky cameos much but I dislike how self-reflexive the whole thing was and how the lead character constantly addressing the audience in that knowing way. Plus looking back it seems weird how subdued the story was considering the wild years and place it covered. Maybe someone'll redo it in a more dramatic fashion.
  12:38am
Alan Partridge:

a.@ stuff it!
  12:41am
a.:

I've been insulted by Alan Partridge. a lifelong dream has been achieved. Thank you WFMU for bringing the impossible within reach!
  12:46am
Therese:

A-ha!
  12:53am
jeff-m:

this Vile is really nice.
  1:01am
limp:

that Thee Oh Sees tune was pretty allright.... kinda want to hear it again...
  1:18am
G:

This is takin' me back. I wrote the review of McLuhan's son's book for the Joyce Quartely like 12 years ago.
  1:23am
david:

this mcluhan a little like John Cage's Indeterminacy.
  2:21am
Aaron:

just tuned in from Asheville, NC. Thanks for stayin up with me!
  2:25am
Therese:

Thank YOU, Aaron! How goes it in Asheville tonight?
  2:27am
jeff-m:

im impressed, this is a pretty sweet strawberry track
  2:30am
Therese:

Right? I always giggle when I hear their name, because my brain immediately goes back to their scene in "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls."
  2:30am
Aaron:

oh, pretty slow. Stuck at work alone. But the upside is that I can kick out the jams all by my lonesome as loudly as I can stand!
  2:34am
Julie:

Oh man I almost missed the whole show
  2:37am
Therese:

The benefits of the night shift, eh Aaron?
  2:37am
Therese:

Julie, you are just in time!
  2:39am
James in ATL:

Therese - thanks for a great show!
  2:43am
Julie:

JM in the AM on the FM! I'm totally saying that Tuesday
  2:45am
