Hate to be nit-picky, but John Doe has always been the bassist in X. Tony Gilkyson was their guitarist for several years, before Billy Zoom rejoined. I don't know anything about Tony and Eliza's dad Terry working with the Byrds, but he wrote "Memories Are Made of This," "The Bare Necessities" and a bunch of other memorable songs. Otherwise, sounding great, Steve!

Hucklebuck was (is) a late 1940s R&B instrumental hit that turned into a cottage industry of songs, later with lyrics, covered by many many people. You can read about it in LCD, the (now defunct) WFMU magazine, online. Check it out.
