Listener comments!

ausmanx:

saw Sun Araw in a cafe the size of a phone booth in a place called Wollongong on Australia Day in January... one of the weirdest gigs I've ever been to. good evening, Marty... summer time is good - I can hear the last hour of your show now before my shift ends!
  6:33am
pierre:

Jay/ London:

so what was with the NO BEACH BOYS thing on the wall?
Avatar 6:58am
Marty McSorley:

it was on the jukebox thought it was funny.
  7:02am
pierre:

One time I played music in a place, and a girl gave me a piece of paper with: "play some music from the 2000 not the 60's" I was playing rock n roll, you know. But then I remember the website "no breast no requests" so I put on some music for her. This how weak I think I am.
  7:17am
Moritz from Germany:

Hey Marty, it's the first time I'm listening to your programme and you made my day with that Slug-Track. Soulfull noise at its best.
  7:19am
Caryn:

I'm just a bit baffled by the writer thinking of "you aren't 12" as a reason for not playing the Beach Boys. Surely there are more logical reasons than that. I don't even get the argument? And here was me thinking 12-year-olds were listening to Bieber and Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift and Gaga, when the whole time, they're all jonesing for the Beach Boys!

Marty McSorley:

Don't Ask me to explain it. It was just there. There was also alot of dogs in the bar. One was drinking at the bar.
  7:31am
ausmanx:

a bar that condemns the Beach Boys AND serves dogs sounds pretty good to me... when i get to NY at the end of the year, you'll have to tell me where it is, M
  7:33am
Olly:

very strange beach boys comment. i guess i must be 12!
  7:36am

  8:25am

  8:31am
