having listened to some of the archives and without sounding presumptious or an arrogant tosser, I would say back then you tended to play mainly 70s prog, 60s psych, and the modern experimental that you tend to find in the Cunerform catelogue.
Now I would say you are really open to any musical style, spoken word, weird as hell sounds that are out there.
Thats what I like about your show!

I saw Sean O'Hagan play Irving Plaza around 2002 with just a guitar and he was completely drowned out by the crowd, who were amped for Stereolab. It was pretty rough, though I hear the London crowds can be pretty disrespectful as well...

Mmmm. Minus the sunburn, indeed sounds *more* than -- esp. the icy cold water. Don't understand the wimps who won't dip a toe in Tahoe or Yellowstone Lake, nor the ocean off Nantucket and parts north in the Atlantic. I became accustomed to colder water during my spelunking days here in limestone country.

Took me around an hour to get to FMU when I was in Brooklyn. Now I broadcast from my house, so the travel time is pretty minimal.
