yes, our building stayed magically dry! studios are in fine shape. tho we lost the Record Fair, which really really hurts. What Fred said up there, would be great to see the little doggie tail wag today! Our silent fundraiser moved very slowly, and the loss of the record fair is setting us back to the tune of several scores of thousands of $$$. So I do hope those of you with the means can show some support!

That crash course in what it would feel like without the station made me cough up an extra mouse yesterday

I was having a discussion with a friend, and we decided that Alice's act is still kind of funny and fun while Marilyn Manson's is tired because Alice made sure the music was good and has always been self-deprecating.

Even though Halloween ended yesterday. The days of the dead are traditionally the 1st and 2nd of November. In Latin American tradition. You make a little shrine to all that have died in the ever past and especially for the past year. Including pets if you want. I made a little figurine for one if my cats that died one year.

Jay:

It's great that this music is all still flowing. Can anyone reveal how it works? Is there a laptop d.j. progam that all of the d.j.'s download? Do the source tracks have to already be online somewhere (Youtube?), or can they access their home music collections? And is there an option that allows the remote d.j.'s to speak? I'm guessing not, since I have not heard that yet, but it would be great if they could, even if only through their built-in laptop microphones.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:26am

Hi Jay - yeah, there's a lotta stuff that different people use. I love Traktor, and also just having multiple instances of Winamp open. But actually, we're back in the studio now, so all analog visceral physical tricks are once again at our disposal!
