- I'm all for clarity & grammar in communication ; It's called 'English' - don't blame me if there's Rules, I didn't invent them...
(...example: Asking if someone minds something - practically - not literally, but almost - everyone responds 'yeah' - as in 'yeah go ahead', not 'yeah I mind'...)
...but I've sort of wondered; wouldn't 'literally' mean it's written down - like literature ?? That could be Metaphor or Fiction...

rabbit, it's one of the things to swear about, the repetition of errors which makes them become ubiquitous. like "phenomena" when someone means "phenomenon", or my current major complaint, the confusion of "reins" and "reigns"! it's everywhere (why???)
