@RR1163 I think it is an homage to the day years ago when I had a boss who was irritated that the clock next to my desk was minutes behind all the other clocks on our floor (I'm not exactly Mr. Punctual). One day I come in and the clock was like an hour and a fifteen fast - because he had tried to "fix" it and instead totally screwed it up. Building operations guys were irritated (they are supposed to handly lights, clocks etc). Anyway, the next day comes along and all the other clocks say 9:03. And my clock says 9:00 :)

I hope they're still fiddling with the transmitter. Signal was unusually good and strong, then went dead, then came back super weak. Maybe they're on the backup while they tweak away.

I normally listen online (I'm way out of range of the transmitters) but was excited to listen over the air when I visited New Brunswick a few weeks ago. Total fail -- the crappy radio in the hotel couldn't pull in the signal. Such a disappointment

Radio receivers are limited by the height of the antenna. In the Catskills, at higher elevations, WMFU, 90.1 Mt. Hope,NY, is as clear as 5 by 5.
