A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

Morning Trouble! Sorry I didn't make it in to see you on Sunday for the fair. One day was all I could do. I only bought one record! Yay for me!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:22am
Trouble:

bonjour jennique! no biggie, i heard sat was CRAZEEE crowded! sun wasn't so bad...
Avatar 10:24am

Yeah, I did Saturday and it was nuts. Walking the aisles was like being stuffed inside a turkey. Or a tofurkey if you prefer.
Avatar 10:30am
ᏠЄႶႶỊѺµЄ:

Someone mentioned yesterday that they would donate money to someone at WFMU (maybe a dj?) to be a personal shopper at the fair. After Saturday, I would happily pay someone to shop for me.
Avatar 10:34am
Ike:

Sunday is better because it's much less crowded and more FMU DJs have tables, but the scum-sucking weasel-lickers at the Port Authority have slashed Sunday morning PATH service so brutally that Sat. seemed like a better option. I couldn't do both days. Next year maybe I will go w/Sun. even though I may end up sitting at a PATH station for 35 min. Or worse, driving.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:35am
Trouble:

go on sunday!!! always is less crowded than saturday. perhaps peeps r afraid they will miss all the good stuff on saturday. but if it's so crowded that you can't look then nothing will be found...that sounds like e buddhist rant, but it's not. purely practical

Maybe next year I will try offering a Sunday carpool from NJ to the fair or something. Dear Port Authority, your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:00am

indeed, sugarwolf, indeed!
Avatar 11:03am
Ike:

CDToaster, what's with the brutal slashing of service on Sunday mornings? Why no overnight substitute bus service after Sandy, leaving thousands stranded? Why not enough trains from 7 to 8 every evening, causing incredibly packed trains? I could go on.
Avatar 11:04am
ᏠЄႶႶỊѺµЄ:

uh, that's 43.5 seconds, jennique. No quite so impressive after all...
