Hey it's 2014 and I'm in a shelter

LOL, Downton Abbey is the British Melrose Place, which my parents assume is some brilliant drama just because it has British accents and nice costumes. Meanwhile my dad won't give Breaking Bad or Justified the time of day. Hilarious. If those two shows had casts with British accents he'd be ALL OVER THEM.
Avatar 12:22am

Happy New Year to Therese and everyone else!

Happy Floyd Year, Therese!

It is totally the PBS equivalent of an Aaron Spelling program. Which is a large part of its appeal for me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26am

I'd say no Justified spoilers, but who am I kidding? I'd watch if I knew every damn thing that was going to happen.

Hellow Therese ! & folks enjoying the tunes and grooves as always,, still one of my all time faves yes Pink Floyd at Pompeii ,, and the audience too ...

I just got to the end of all the Dr. Who available on Netflix
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28am

Remember that Neil Young song where he says he wishes he was high? This era of Pink Floyd tune makes me think of that.

There are too many English people faking American accents in tv
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:30am
pacific standard simon:

@KP - They're just biting their thumbs at you.
Avatar 12:30am
Ike:

KP, that's because they work cheap. Actor James Purefoy said, "We are often referred to in L.A. as white Mexicans."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31am

I thought that was the Canadians.

Andrew, you're not missing much then, season 7 is pretty much all downhill. But I'm puzzled that Netflix has left out Dr. Who's 2010 "Christmas Carol," the best Xmas special they ever did.

I entered the MTA system around 9 and by the time I reemerged to the surface world in Journal Square at 10:30 the world was enveloped in creepy fog.

Anyway, whippersnappers, amirite?

There is a porn movie that uses ELO albums as the soundtrack. I actually found out about this trying to track down a Jeff Lynne cd.

My sister went through a phase where she wanted to be Vicki so she spoke like her. Yes, it was as fun as it sounds. I learned so much about "Small Wonder," more than any reasonable person should know.

My brother and I pestered our parents to take us to see Chomps when it came out. We were unsuccessful.
