	1:48pm Ari: Let's be honest about the Timberlake-Lidell thing. Timberlake really worked to market himself to the r&b market and aligned himself with prominent hip hop artists and producers. Jamie, certainly the more adventurous artist, was going in several directions at the same time: eccentric production, progressive modern r&b, and retro r&b all at the same time.

People like Pharell, Rick Rubin and the like..were coming into the shop to buy multiple copies of "Multiply" to give to friends..it's just unfortunate that he couldn't quite focus imo
