Guido from Cologne:

Early 1990ies were a certain time of hope musically!
Some indie underground becoming part of mainstream, that made mainstream radio more bareable (in case you couldn't avoid). Hip-Hop being in the middle of one of it's most innovative periods. Jungle blowing over from British Isles with some help from John Peel.Surf and Exotica classics becoming available again. And my very own active years musical wise anyway ...

Pete:

huh, weird, i remember this song but the version that was always on UK radio didn't have this boshing dance backing track, it was more conventional pop/rock

"We've got this… what is it… Buffcoat and Beaver or Beaver and something else. I haven't seen it, I don't watch it, but whatever it is, it was at 7, Buffcoat, and they put it on now at 10:30".

Don't forget RFTC, Pat!
  5:44am
csw:

It is indeed Chris in the UK Pat! RFTC is the best, and On a Rope was one of the cult classics over here in the 90s. Joined late so I thought that was the vibe, rather than "bad 90s"

HEY CHRIS! Sorry I said London last time- weeks ago
  5:48am

All good. Easy mistake to make. There's worse places I could be than London! Gonna have to catch up on rest of this show later on.
