Howdy, James! Just getting set up here ... and cooking gnocchi & broccoli simultaneously
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:51pm

Ah, the old gnoc & broc. Well done. Was going to make Trader Joe's ravioli with veggies, but got pulled in by the TJ's bean burrito and chicken taquito combo.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:52pm

My default is gnocchi and pesto -- probably not the healthiest of choices. This is the great Aiha Higurashi right now, of Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her fame

Not bad in moderation, those two. Really well-made examples of both make it tough to be moderate!

When I worked as a prep cook for a fancy Italian restaurant in San Francisco in the 80s, I made pesto from scratch -- and put it on everything.

Howdy, Carol and all!! A friend of mine grows basil (or stands back while the basil grows; it needs little prompting!) so she can freeze batches of pesto that same way. She uses ice cube trays and then thaws cubes when needed. (I do the same with unused stock.)
