Also, you just flipped me out when you played Flophouse. Since I was on Teenbeat’s onset a few weeks ago & discovered a typo on their page about that specific single, contacted them & was thanked for the assist. Weird coinidink.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:06pm
Faye:

well THAT explains your unending kindness Chop Scott!
  10:08pm
JakeGould:

People think I am from the midwest because I have a non-accent accent despite growing up in Brooklyn. That’s what I get for being a part of a Polish/Yiddish household I guess.
Avatar 10:09pm
Ĩkє:

I'm from rural MD, but close enough to VA that a tinge of quasi-southern accent still occasionally emerges despite my living in 91.1 FM-land for many years now. I still call groups of people "y'all" sometimes.

I am from Hudson County, NJ. I do not have an accent. The rest of youse do.

And truth be told, I would love to move to upstate NYC or anywhere in the northeast that is rural to some extent. City life is not for me.

I jest, Faye. Liz attended Uc Davis, where i live and used to work. I did not know you were born out here. BTW, we don't have accents. Y'all have accents.

Avatar 10:15pm

Ha ha, wow. If that's truly "part 15" (so low power that it's legal) as they claim, then no wonder you can't pick it up. Part 15 reaches maybe, like, a block!
  10:16pm
P-90:

Jersey City = the new borough of NYC
  10:17pm
JakeGould:

Yeah, I now want to buy an AM radio and go to the block I am sure this guy is on so I can listen to Van Halen & other classic rock hits.

Isn’t “Part 15” the AM power level people use when driving through Christmas light displays to listen to warbling music?

@P-90 They should have continued building the 7 train to New Jersey, commuting would so much easier.

Sunset Park, Tome. 36th Street to 59th Street in Brooklyn is Sunset Park.

When I hear the first few songs on each show I realize that I would not automatically think of Hello Children. That is what makes your show so great--always playing something new and different. Plus, I was excited to hear Ron House and Counter Inutits. I saw Ron with Thomas Jefferson Slave Apartments in the spring of 2016. As one song was winding down he kept chanting: "Cleveland. July. Cleveland. July." After the show I asked him if he was referring to the Republican National Convention. He said yes and that it was a "date with the devil."
