LJFW: in the late 70s/early 80s - a van with a horribly rendered painting of all four members of Van Halen used to a fairly common site in the town I grew up in. Sadly, I don't think anyone took any pictures of it.

Good point, still b/p. There's a continuum from pulp magazines to sword/sorcery comics to game box and ad artwork. Lots of detailed "analogue" painting in that era before Wacom tablets and such.

Not just a great Foreigner song, but a rare lead vocal by guitarist Mick Jones. He wa in Spooky Tooth with dreamweaver Gary Wright, and also played on albums by Peter Frampton (1972's Wind of Change) and George Harrison (1974's Dark Horse). Of course Lou Gramm had to add his vocal histrionics to the break.
