Yeah, MM has quite an otherworldly atmosphere (particularly the mysterious episode that resembles a kind of pagan solstice ritual), striking images (Too-ticky fishing beneath the green ice) and a refreshingly gentle pace. Highly recommended to anyone.

	10:54am βrian: FWIW, I don't have the recipe on hand, but it's from this book: www.worldcat.org... The key is to cut the sugar in half for the glaze and by a quarter for the cake itself. (Sugar can be a muffling hammer, don't you know.)
