Hey Nick! Was hoping that if you ran later, Dave the Spazz could have done an extended Jonathan Schwartz parody. That was great if you missed it!
  12:19am
V Priceless:

Hey N, B and C, C!

hi Ryab! / coelacanth!

Does anyone know why Dave's comments board was disabled? Was there another troll or somethin?

Hello!

I missed you guys... :(

Can't use "and" symbol on app. It cuts off remaing text, so I learned from JakeG.

howdy rw,Ryab,V!

i'm certain that was Dave's choice,Bear!,considering his meltdown last week.
  12:21am
Nick Name:

Hey JakeGould - ahh missed that (archives!) but i heard the jailbait tune
  12:22am
JakeGould:

@Claw!: I think he was sick of last week’s B.S.
  12:23am
Claw!:

Yeah, I could see that, Fish. Although last week didn't even really seem that bad to me, tbh. Oh well.
  12:24am
V Priceless:

Unknown as to Dave's board. Gotta think maybe he's taking a break after last week, though I'm still a bit perplexed as to what exactly went down.
  12:24am
JakeGould:

@NickName: Right after the Frank Sinatra “That’s Life” cut. Should be a regular feature. Maybe an extended 40 minute monologue of how Jonathan Schwartz once went down to the corner to get pound cake and a Sanka… And it reminded him of… Frank Sinatra.
  12:24am

Glad you made it to the station Nick. Enjoying a cup of PG Tips. It's England's No. 1 tea, you know.
  12:26am
V Priceless:

Yep, I hear that, Jake.
  12:27am
JakeGould:

I once saw Jonthan Schwartz crossing the street near WNYC studios. He was standing in the street a bit. Then a HUGE black limo/SUBV thing needed to turn near him and honked… Seeing him and his totebag and his Boston Red Sox cap jump in collective “what happened?” shock was amazing.
  12:27am
Claw!:

Yeah, V, I don't really undwrstand what was so bad about it that it warranted putting us in time-out this week.
  12:28am
Claw!:

True that, Jake.
  12:30am
JakeGould:

They should place Jonthan Schwartz in a booth in Times Square. And for $1 and one word, he will yammer on for 5 minutes about how Frank Sinatra and that word are somehow connected to one another.
  12:30am
V Priceless:

So be it, Claw - the music marches on, regardless, I do declare.
  12:32am
V Priceless:

@ JakeG: ha. I thought you were gonna say a buck buys you three baseballs and three chances to dunk him in the water!
  12:34am
JakeGould:

@VPriceless: Maybe we can mix up ideas. Like he would sit in a dunk tank and talk endlessly about Frank Sinatra. And the barker would shout, “Arrrgh! Who among you fine folks can stop Jonathan Schwartz in the middle of an endless rant! Bonus points if you dunk him before he talks about Frank Sinatra! Step right up!”
  12:34am
rw:

This Carsten Neinert Karvrtet does a pretty good Coltrane.
  12:35am
V Priceless:

Haha great idea, JG!
  12:35am

@rw: ha ha , look up the 80's adverts for them, they have chimps dressed up, with voiceovers - bizarre
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39am
coelacanth:

rw,i was doing something else-and the volume was really low. i thought it was Coltrane. (and i sometimes pretend to know something about Trane.)
  12:39am
V Priceless:

The dunk tank is a brilliant invention when you really take a moment to ponder it....and very theraputic.
  12:41am
Nick Name:

yeh its Danish , and thats true it's been compared to Coltrane - pretty Good
  12:42am
JakeGould:

@VPriceless: Maybe dunk tanks are needed in the middle east? I mean is there a map of political strife versus dunk tanks?
  12:44am
rw:

coelacanth, I thought it was Coltrane too and checked the playlist to see which album, etc.
  12:46am
V Priceless:

If there is, it'll show a severe shortage of dunk tanks! I think they could hold the key to resolving all world conflict.

Yes, I agree - Funny is most DEFINITELY the most important meal of the day.
  1:04am

I agreed to work another 11-hour shift tomorrow after the one I worked today because I am a whore and I need the dough. :( I am going to be moving for the third time in a year (!), and I need to save up. On the bright side - I won't have to move again for a long time after this one, so I gotta stay positive.

Claw!:

Yeah, I'm just gonna go now, Fish. It's for the best - got a long day ahead of me tomorrow. G'nite!
  1:22am
JakeGould:

@NickName: I like that term… “'Builders Tea” I always drank tea sans milk my whole life. Then one stupid college job someone made a run to a local diner to get us stuff. I ordered tea. The guy came back with tea with milk in it and I winced. Then the guy literally was such a snit about me complaining he went—literally—to everyone in shop we worked in asking, “Who doesn’t drink tea with milk in it? Jake thinks that’s wrong…”
Avatar 1:23am

W/milk is great... if you can digest lactose. I can see the appeal. Anyway now I have a craving for black tea. Brewing some decaf Luzianne.

@Ike: I don’t think it’s a kosher thing more than just a cultural thing. I just have never met NYC Jews who drank tea with milk.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:39am
coelacanth:

i've had it a few times and always liked it.
i was kidding about the under-bush people! but i've known many who've lived in motor vehicles (as i did,too- a volvo wagon...) and cowboy coffee doesn't require extra appliances that you can't also use for something else.
Avatar 1:39am
cory:

i'd rather have my penis mutilated again than have tea with milk
Avatar 1:40am
Ike:

Yeah, I think Americans generally don't have it w/milk that often. I'm trying my decaf w/almond milk now... hmm... eh... needs to be stronger and sweeter. (*dumps an unhealthy amt. of sugar into tea*) That's better!
