Not sure if I'd say Zappa OR Beefhart, more 'you like them or you don't'

JakeGould:

Boris Karloff is my favorite because of his friendship with the blind guy in “Bride of Frankenstein.” www.youtube.com...

Y'all forgetting the E train with that announcement on how to get to the G. The 7 *or* the --E-- to Court Square (it's the first stop in Queens on the E). Get the G there.

SPECIAL BONUS SERVICE TO THE G: Per the MTA site, Queens-bound **F** trains are also going to Court Sq. this weekend due to construction! Jackpot!

... can also get on the Brooklyn End B32 bus ,, Williamsburgh Bridge plaza , goes up Kent ave. into Franklyn St. leaves right there ,, the other end of the B32 bus from Long Island City Queens ,, then over the Pulaski Bridge over the canal to brooklyn right down Frankly st.. only problem is you would have to use the,, the G train after 9pm on the way back bus stops after that but it's one way also.. -- > bit.ly...

@rich: If find “geek” dichotomy to be no different than any other nonsense competitive instinct. Don’t care.

JakeGould:

In Brooklyn you can take the R train to 9th Street (4th Avenue) and transfer for the G. Or even take any train in the world to Atlantic Avenue, get off and walk to Fulton Street G train or Hoyt-Schermememrglughorn Street and catch the G train there.

Rich's show embodies everything good about WFMU. You never have any idea where the next segue is going to take you, and yet there's a coherent arc to the whole thing. Genius.

The ICP orchestra? I didn't know the Insane Clown Posse had an orchestra. Yikes. Oh wait, that's some other ICP? Never mind.

Funny- didn't know that Drift was from Under the Skin, which I haven't seen. rich, at this time of the night I'd say movies in the folk-horror genre.

For those going to the rec fair, if you like sausage, ham, or salami, you should check out Polam at 952 Manhattan Ave. while you're in the area. I'm not usually much of a meat eater myself, but I had some of their ham recently and it was amazing.
