The release of the Muffs first album back in 1993 marked the first time an album I wanted was not sold in the LP format. So I bought the cassette (I was damned if I was gonna be suckered by that CD fad!).

When the Stones bought that song from Lennon/McCartney, did they realize the Beatles would release a version 3 weeks after theirs came out?

Thanks for the interview. I'm torn because it does seem like a paid rehab on Klein's reputation, but insights into the Stones' business machinations greatly interests me.

As an acqaintance of Shatner's for many years (he and my Dad had a business relationship and were friends) I can tell you there is NO doubt that he understands the "campy" appeal of a lot of what he does. The Ben Folds collaborations are about playing to that campy image while trying to deliver something more. I think they often do.
