It had occured to me that there might be some astrological explanation. Why can't people make records sound that good anymore, after another 40 years of experience and technological possibility?? There must be SOMETHING going on.

	10:44am Revolution Rabbit Nov63: ...you could argue The Beatles' last, 'Abbey Road', was their only 'modern' one on modern boards, & w/ the fully mature Pop chops; that they had only just grown up. Likewise the whole scene, in a way, w/ Prog coming out of Psych saying you can play well & have ideas in Pop & be recorded well...& the Amps were finally big enuff by the late 60s/early 70s - as far as Metal developing...The idea that it's not always about the 60s, but momentum was getting underway into the 70s - but before it got too big & corporate ??...
