moved by recent passing of Bowie, Lemmy, and Lulubelle - all from cancer - decided to do show dedicated to the eternal finally fight to find cure for cancer…….Note some (not all) of the music today is by artists affected by cancer - victims or sympathizers. As well as such cancer victims Camu Tao (RIP), and Boosie Badazz and sympathizers as El-P and Bird - will play music by other artists such as Mac Mill, Mac Dre, Mac Mall (Triple Mac Set) + Lushlife and Tone Tank - and J-Dilla (who died of cardiac arrest following battle with (non-cancer) Lupus………If you wish to give shout out to someone you know whose life was affected by cancer or anything on the topic - please post here in comments - THANK YOU!

My very good friend passed away this past November from cancer. I think about him every day. We spun a lot of records out over the years, he was always kind enough to say 'yes' when I asked if I could guest with him on his soul 45 dj nights. I miss you, Dave.

Hey Billy Jam....unable to listen in but will catch the archive. My dad has been going through treatment for a rare type of skin cancers the past year. He seems to be coping pretty well with it all. I can't believe in this day and age and with all the technology available that cancer is still a killer. I join you all in saying fuck cancer
