	5:43am Mark R.: Me too. I was disappointed he never did much afterward. My older brother saw Randy Hansen, the Hendrix imitator, in the 80s, and was shocked to see Mitch playing drums with him. There could have been so much more to Mitch than his ties to someone who died in 1970.
	5:44am Mark R.: Yes, we're OK. We've had a lot of folks pulling marathon shifts and stuff, but we kept kickin' out the jams for ya...
	5:49am pacific standard simon: I guess Mitch was deeply involved with pulling together the tracks that would have been on the album that Hendrix was working on at the time of his death, so for that I am grateful.
	5:54am Mark R.: Yeah, "Cry of Love" was actually one of my favorites. I'm not saying he should have abandoned the Hendrix legacy. He was possibly the greatest musician who ever lived. I just wish Mitch had gotten on with the rest of his life and made music with some other people. It's like a beautiful young woman whose husband is killed and she never remarries. Imagine a fusion band with Mitch and Stanley Clarke and a great guitar player and keyboard player, for example.

	8:03am Mark R.: It's actually a beautiful morning in NJ/NY. The air is so crisp and clear, the streets have been (mostly) plowed, and it's soooo quiet.

	8:14am Mark R.: A well-loved album--like a teddy bear whose fur has been hugged off, missing an eye. This is my wife's album, actually. It pays to marry a girl with good taste in music. I would have bought this album, anyway. Think how much Schlitz I was able to buy with that $8.99.
